April, 1967. Disaster hits the Motel. A wartime bomb is triggered by workmen.
But from the wreckage is to emerge a better and brighter establishment.
For Meg's son, Sandy, one other good thing emerges: his write-up on it all gets him a job as a trainee reporter
on the local paper.
