Chris Hunter shows Johnny Keller a plan of the motel cellars and says they can have it soundproofed and use it as a recording studio.  Johnny asks how much that will cost, and Chris says nothing at all because the motel is having the work done anyway.

Glenda Brownlow goes back home and asks Arthur where her mother is.  Arthur tells her that Kath is in town.  He notices something is troubling Glenda and asks her what is wrong.  Glenda says nothing, but Arthur says it's obvious that something has upset her.  "Look, why don't you leave me alone," says Glenda and runs out of the room.

There is a knock on the door at Becky Foster's flat and Chris Hunter opens it to Barbara Hunter.  Chris introduces her to Johnny Keller.  Barbara recognises Johnny and says David pointed him out when they were in Guernsey.  Johnny Keller leaves the room and Chris asks Barbara if she will tell David that Johnny Keller is here.  Barbara says no, it's about time David found out about Chris on his own.

Barbara asks Chris if he could give Becky Foster a message.  "Tell her I'm sorry I made her lie about Eddie Lee, but I'm going to put that right.  I'm going to do what I should have done weeks ago.  Tell David the truth," says Barbara, and leaves.

Johnny Keller comes back into the room after Barbara has left.  "What was that all about?  Trouble?" asks Johnny.  "No nothing you need worry about, but I wouldn't say the same for her," says Chris.

Oliver Banks tells Beverley Carson that Kevin has got himself involved with this girl and they don't think she is right for him.  Sally Banks tells Beverley that Kevin hasn't been happy since he split up with her.  Kevin Banks arrives home and goes straight upstairs.  "Is that you Kevin?" calls Oliver Banks.  He tells Kevin that there is someone here to see him.  Kevin comes into the living room and stops when he see's Beverley Carson.

Barbara Hunter returns to the Coach House and David asks her where she has been.  Barbara tells him that she went to see Becky Foster but she wasn't there.  Barbara tells David that she must talk to him about Eddie Lee.  "Victor Lee's brother?" asks David.  "yes.  The man who stayed here in connection woth my book," says Barbara.  David says she didn't tell him it was Victor Lee's brother.

Oliver and Sally Banks leave Kevin and Beverley Carson alone.  Beverley tells Kevin that his parents said he needed her help.  Kevin asks her if they told her what it was about, and Beverley says his parents mentioned that he had got himself mixed up with a girl.  Kevin  says yes, he is marrying her.  "That's different," says Beverley.  "They are the limit," she says.  Beverley Carson asks Kevin when he is getting married and Kevin says in two weeks.  Beverley asks what the girls name is and Kevin tells her that she is called Glenda.  Beverley tells him to be happy.  "You too," says Kevin.

Barbara Hunter tells David that her and Eddie Lee were at the Coach House alone, that Becky Foster wasn't here.  Barbara tells David that she didn't ever tell him that Becky was here, he just assumed.  Barbara gives David the notes for her book and he paces the floor whilst reading them.  He says Eddie Lee seems to have impressed her.  Barbara tells David that Eddie didn't kiss her or lay a hand on her.  "How disappointing that must have been for you," says David.  "I don't believe you said that," says Barbara.

Kevin Banks confronts his parents and says they shouldn't have interfered.  "I am marrying Glenda on May 14th.  Now you can be there if you want.  If you do anything like this again I'm finished with you for ever," warns Kevin.  Marion Owen comes into the room and overhears and asks what is going on.  "We're playing happy families, and I caught them cheating," says Kevin, and leaves.  Marion Owen asks Oliver and Sally Banks what all that was about and Oliver tells her that they sent for Kevin's ex-girlfriend Beverley Carson.  "Oh how could you," says Marion.

David asks Barbara if Eddie Lee was here when he phoned from Guernsey, and Barbara says yes.  David says the night he got back she told him she had a friend satying at the Coach House.  "I suppose that was Eddie Lee," says David.  Barbara says yes, she wanted him out before David got back.  Barbara tells David that he is tired of being blackmailed.  "By who?" asks David.  Barbara tells him by Chris, he might have threatened their relationship and ruined their marriage.  "You seem to have done that by yourself without Chris's help," says David.

Kath Brownlow arrives home with the shopping for the wedding.  Kevin Banks arrives and asks where Glenda is, and Arthur tells him that Glenda is working.  Arthur tells Kevin that Glenda seemed upset about something.

At the Coach House there is a cool atmosphere between David and Barbara Hunter.  There is a knock at the door and Barbara answers it to Adam Chance.  Adam asks if he could have a word with David.  Adam tells David that he wanted to talk to him about Reg Cotterill, and says he has been a bit strange since Alison left to go on this nursing course.  Adam says Reg Cotterill is giving up Stonebank Farm so they will have to find someone else to supply the motel's vegetables.  David asks Adam if they could talk about this tomorrow.  Adam says yes and apologises for disturbing them.  He leaves.

Barbara Hunter see's Adam Chance out then walks back across the living room.  "Barbara, I think we should talk," says David.  "Not talk David.  Think," says Barbara and, going into the other room, shuts the door behind her.

Diane Hunter arrives at her flat after her holiday in America and finds Chris Hunter, Becky Foster and Johnny Keller there.  Chris introduces Diane to Johnny Keller.  Diane says if they don't mind she would like to sleep as she is shattered.  Johnny Keller tells her that he has been on a few long haul plane journeys himself so he knows how she feels.

Adam Chance joins Jill Harvey in the motel sitting room and asks her how her dinner with Eric Collins went.  Jill says fine.

Kevin and Glenda go to Marion Owen's house and Kevin asks Marion where his parents are.  Marion tells him they are in bed.  "At this hour," asks Kevin.  "Cooling off," says Marion.  "Cooling off?" asks Glenda Brownlow.  Marion Owen tells her that there was a bit of an argument, and Glenda asks if it had anything to do with Beverley Carson.  Kevin asks her what she knows about that.  "I saw her.  I talked to her earlier," says Glenda.  "She's very nice," she adds.
