David asks Kate.  "Yes, they're waiting for you at the box office," says Kate.  "You never told me you were going out," Lucy tells Kate.  "Oh no not me.  I've got too much to do," says Kate.  "Toni's coming here.  We're having a drink first.  Anyway I'd better run that bath," says David and goes upstairs.  "Toni Ross.  Oh Mum, no wonder you were looking so glum," says Lucy.  "Lucy!  Will you just be quiet," says Kate.

Anthony Mortimer asks Ingrid Larson out to dinner.

Lynne Baxter comes to the motel looking for Sandy and asks Meg where he is.  Meg tells Lynne that Sandy isn't in.  Lynne talks to Jane Smith and tells her that Sandy is avoiding her.  Jane tells Lynne that Sandy is very grateful to her.  "What?" asks Lynne.  Jane says Toni Ross was saying the other day that Lynne had been good for Sandy.

Toni Ross arrives at the cottage for her evening out with David and Kate compliments her on her outfit.  David pours a drink for Toni, Kate and himself.  "Doesn't she look lovely," Kate says to David.  "Yes as always," David replies.  "Lucy, give Toni her drink," says David and hands a glass to Lucy.  Lucy takes the glass and advances towards Toni Ross.  Lucy trips and spills the drink onto Toni Ross's outfit.  Toni tells David that she will have to go back to the motel and change, and David says he will drive her there.  Kate notices Toni's handbag on the floor with its contents spilling out.  Lucy helps her mother to put the items back into the handbag but manages to hide a letter belonging to Toni.
