Ronald Allen, who plays Ian Harmon in BBC TV's Compact, was born under the ninth sign of the Zodiac, Sagittarius.  This is rather a fiery sign, people born under it are, therefore, bright and impressionable, always ambitious and hopeful, very active, and usually find that expression comes to them easily.  One interesting point about Ronald Allen, which he may not even be aware of himself, is that because he was born on the 16th December, he would find that at times he had a terrific power of being able to foretell happenings and events before they actually occur.  He is, I should say, a little bit of a rebel because he would strongly beleive in liberty and freedom of speech, and I should hate to upset Ronald at any time, for I suggest that he is not without temper!

Nevertheless, like most other Sagittarians, I would say he is very straightforward and, if anything, sometimes a little too independent and philosophical.  Taking a close look at Ronald and his exact birth date, I suggest that he would be a little more self-willed than most and at times militant in spirit but never losing his sense of humour.

Where work is concerned, Sagittarians usually do extremely well as designers or teachers, and some of the finest preachers have been born under this sign.  But entertainment would suit them because it would bring the Sagittarian in to contact with others and in this they excel themselves.  Their friends are usually born under Aries, Aquarius and Libra - but seldom under Scorpio.

During the year ahead Ronald may find that his finances, although quite adequate, may need some little extra careful planning.  He should keep his eyes open the whole while for opportunities, especially in the direction of travel tied up with work, for this should prove most properous for him.  Any irritating little family matters may be thrown off later in the year, and in consequence he should find that he is able to enjoy himself much more socially.
