In the conclusion of this two part story, Stan has made it to the Falklands which has been taken over by the Argentines.

Captured and tied to a stake alongside girlfriend Frances, the pair are sentenced to death by dictator, General Galtieri.  Stan recounts how he and his fellow South Atlantic Raiders escaped from prison in an ice cream van, stole a jumbo jet and made it all the way to the Falklands.
