Background
'Full Circle' was writtern by the American husband and wife partnership of Jesse Lasky Junior and
Pat Silver. Jesse had been a scriptwriter in Hollywood since the 1930s and together with his third wife, actress and writer
Pat Silver moved to London in the late 1950s.
The shooting script was completed on September 17th, 1974.
Director Bob Kellett pushed for scenes to be shot on location in Black Park directly behind Pinewood
Studios, something that Gerry Anderson was reluctant to do. Kellett convinced Anderson that he could complete scenes
outside in the same amount of time and for the same cost as doing them in the studio.
Bob Kellett insisted that Zienia Merton wore a leopardskin dress that had to be tied in place without
underwear. This caused Merton some embarrassment when she fell out of it after a chase sequence. She also received
insect bites to her legs and in an effort to keep warm was given brandy that made her slightly drunk.
Filming on 'Full Circle' got underway on Tuesday, September 24th 1974.
This episode marked the first appearance of the stun/kill slider on the stun gun.
Barry Gray composed and arranged his score for this episode at his home in Guernsey. This was
recorded at CTS and would be his last work with the Anderson's after an association of seventeen years.
