Anne Powell returns to the Motel and tells David that she and her husband Bob have rented a house in the area. She asks David to dinner and tells him that Bob is looking forward to meeting him. David has dinner with Bob and Anne Powell. After dinner Anne serves David coffee. "Help yourself to sugar David. Oh of course you don't do you" says Anne. "What a remarkable memory for tiny details" says Bob Powell sarcastically. As David leaves he says good bye and extends a hand to Bob. Bob says goodbye but does not shake David's hand.

Gareth, a friend of Stan's, asks him to his home for a game of cards.  Stan, Gareth and two girls, Lila and Rosalie, play strip poker.  Gareth wins the first game and Lila and Rosalie take off their blouses.  He also wins the second game and Lila takes off her jeans but when Rosalie is about to take off her jeans, Gareth stops her.  "The winner chooses what comes off.  Take off your bra," he says.  Stan stops her and tells her he is taking her home.

Anne and Bob Powell come to the Motel for dinner as guests of David Hunter, Derak Maynard and Tish Hope.  They have a drink in the sitting room before dinner and Derek Maynard asks Bob if he knows Doctor Ford.  Bob completely ignores him.  David offers Bob another drink, which Bob accepts. "Bob do you think you should.  You are driving remember," she says.  "You shut your pretty little mouth" says Bob between clenched teeth.  David is about to tell Bob what he thinks of him when Tish suggests that perhaps they should order dinner.

Rosalie goes to the Motel's hairdressing salon and tells Vera and Sheila that her hair has to be really nice because her new man is very special.  She describes him as genuine and sexy.  She tells them that he works in an electrical shop and his name is Stan.  Sheila and Vera exchange glances.  After she has left the salon Rosalie goes to the electrical shop where Stan works but she finds Wilf Harvey.  She asks Wilf to give Stan a message to meet her at the same place, same time.

Once Anne and Bob Powell have left the Motel, David asks Tish for her opinion on Bob Powell.  "Well he certainly has a drink problem," says Tish.  "No, it's not that.  He hardly had anything.  No it's something else.  There's something seriously wrong," says David, anxiously.

Sheila Mollison tells her brother Stan that she knows about him and Rosalie.  Meanwhile, Wilf Harvey tells Meg that her son in law has another woman.  Rosalie goes to Stan's shop and asks him to come out with her that evening, but Stan tells her that he is married and he is not going to see her anymore.

Derek Maynard tells David that he knows why Bob Powell was so cold towards him when he mentioned his work as a doctor.  He says Bob performed an operation on a patient and the patient died, so Bob is blaming himself.

George Parker, Vince's father, arrives at the Motel and tells Vince that he has packed in his job in London and is moving to Birmingham.  He tells Vince that he is planning to re-marry and he will meet his future wife very soon.
