Reg Cotterill goes to the Coach House to see Alison and tells her that he is having trouble with Ivy Pruett.  He says she thinks there is some understanding between them, but there isn't.  He tells Alison that if she came back to Stonebank Farm than Ivy Pruett would have to move out.  Alison says she can't leave the Coach House because she promised Mr and Mrs Hunter that she would look after the house until they returned from holiday.  Reg says she must get very lonely here on her own, but Alison says not really, Benny came to see her yesterday and Chris Hunter comes sometimes.  "To court?" asks Reg Cotterill.  Alison says no, he still has some of his belongings at the house.  Alison asks Reg if he would mind if Chris Hunter did some courting, and Reg says yes as Chris Hunter is married.
 
Lloyd Munro arrives back at the Motel and asks Jill where Meg is.  Jill tells him she is out, so Lloyd says he would like book a table for dinner this evening for himself and Meg.  Jill says that could be a bit awkward.  Lloyd tells Jill not to tell Meg.  "I want to surprise her," says Lloyd.
 
Meg Mortimer and Philip Rogers arrive back at the Motel after a day out.  Philip Rogers goes to his chalet and Jill tells Meg that there is someone to see her in the sitting room.
 
Eddie Lee knocks on the door of Diane Hunter's flat and tells her that Victor has been on at him fro breaking into her flat.  "What?" asks Diane.  She says she didn't tell Victor, she mentioned it to Sharon Metcalfe.
 
Meg goes to the sitting room and finds Lloyd Munro.  Meg welcomes him back and Lloyd gives her a present.  Meg opens the small box and takes out a pendant.  She thanks Lloyd and hugs him.  At that moment Philip Rogers comes into the sitting room.  "Oh hello," says Philip Rogers.  Meg and Lloyd separate.  "Oh hello Philip," says Meg.  "Tables free.  You did say you were going to have dinner with me tonight," says Philip.  "Are you not going to introduce us," asks Philip Rogers.  Meg looks awkwardly from Philip to Lloyd.  Meg tells Lloyd that she met Philip on her cruise.  The two men shake hands.  Lloyd says he has some things to do and leaves.
 
Diane oversleeps and rushes around her flat trying to get ready.  There is a knock on the door and Diane lets Eddie Lee in.  He asks Diane what all the panic is about and Diane tells him that she is late for work.  She says she is going to miss her bus if she doesn't hurry and Eddie Lee ofers to give her a lift.  Diane gratefully accepts.
 
Philip Rogers asks Jill Harvey who Lloyd Munro is and Jill tells him that Lloyd is a retired psychiatrist.  Philip says Meg has never mentioned him and Jill tells him that there was no reason too as Lloyd is just a friend.
 
Diane Hunter comes into the garage and tells Eddie Lee that she has done a silly thing.  She tells him that she left in such a hurry that she left her keys locked inside her flat.  She asks Eddie if he could slip the lock for her.
 
Lloyd Munro asks Jill about Philip Rogers and what he does for a living.  Jill says she thinks he is in the grocery trade.  Lloyd tells her that she thinks there is something funny about him. 
 
Jill goes into the sitting room where she finds Meg talking to Philip Rogers.  Philip Rogers leaves and Jill tells Meg that Philip was asking questions about Lloyd Munro and Lloyd was asking questions about Philip.  Meg says she is worried about what she has got into.  Jill asks Meg how she feels about Philip and Meg says she enjoys his company.
 
Alison Cotterill arrives at the Coach House and Chris Hunter tells her that Rosemary is leaving hospital tomorrow and he is taking her back to Geneva.  Alison asks him if he will be coming back but Chris say's there's no need.  Alison tells Chris that she wants to get to know him better, and Chris tells her that it's better for her if she doesn't.
 
Eddie Lee and Diane go to Diane's flat and he slips the lock on her door.  Diane invites him in, and Eddie grabs her. 
 
Lloyd Munro tells Meg that Philip Rogers is a phoney, and he can't find his name listed in the trade directory.  Meg says Philip is a valued friend and she doesn't want to hear.  Philip Rogers comes into the sitting room and Lloyd throws down the trade directory before storming out of the room.  Philip Rogers picks up the trade directory.
 
Philip Rogers meets Lloyd Munro in reception and asks him what he is up to.  He tells Lloyd that he has upset Meg, and warns Lloyd to keep his nose out. 
 
Eddie Lee tells Joe MacDonald that he knows about his sideline, doing overtime and working on a friends car in the firms time.  Joe warns him to lay off.  Eddie takes a towel from the work bench and Joe's sandwiches fall to the ground.  "Thanks," says Joe.  "It was an accident," says Eddie.  "Oh yeah," says Joe.  Joe says there has been nothing but trouble since he came here.  Eddie grabs Joe's arm and forces it up his back.  Sharon Metcalfe comes out of the garage office closely followed by Victor Lee.  Victor tells them angrily to stop behaving like children. 
 
Benny goes to the Coach House and tells Alison Cotterill that Ivy Pruett has left Stonebank Farm, so Reg Cotterill would like Alison to come back to the farm.  "I'll pack my things," says Alison.
 
Philip Rogers joins Meg in the sitting room and tells her that he has been looking at houses in the area.  He shows her some of the leaflets and Meg's eyes open wide at the prices.  Philip see's her expression and says he's not a poor man.  "I must be worth a million, and I'm eligible.  So how about it?" asks Philip Rogers.  Meg stares at him, openmouthed.  "I'm asking you to marry me," he says.   
 
Eddie Lee joins Sharon Metcalfe in the garage office after everyone has left for the day.  He tells her that the incident in the workshop was Joe MacDonald's fault, and he doesn't want to make trouble.  He throws the towel in his hands around Sharon's neck and asks her if she is going to try and run away.  Sharon stares at him, then walks forward and kisses him.  "They told you all about me, now why didn't they warn me about you," says Eddie Lee.  
 
Meg tells Philip Rogers that she can't marry him.
 
Joe MacDonald joins Doris Luke in the motel staff room and thanks her for the things she knitted for his and Trina's baby.  He says it's their wedding anniversary soon and he would like to bring Trina to the motel for dinner.
