Sandy reminds Arthur Brownlow that Glenda still has to identify her attacker and she might not want to go through with it.  "But she has to.  I'll get that man behind bars even if I have to drag him to court myself," says Arthur.  Jane Smith tells him that he can't force Glenda to give evidence.

Meg talks to Hugh about Anthony and reminds him that David is her co-director, not Anthony.  Meg also talks to Sandy about the situation and says there is trouble brewing but she doesn't know who started it.  Later, Meg talks to Anthony and asks him if he has any intention of branching out into the motel business.  Anthony assures her that he has no such intentions.  "You can tell David he's stuck with the job as manager," he says.

Kath Brownlowe tells Glenda that she must make sure the man who attacked her is punished and the only way of doing that is to give evidence.

Anthony Mortimer finds his father alone in the sitting room and tells him that everyone might get on a little better if he wasn't around.  "Even David Hunter and I," he says.  He asks Hugh to leave him and David alone.  "I don't like thumping a man I've got nothing against," says Anthony.

Arthur and Kath Brownlowe go to the motel and tell Sandy and Jane that Glenda is going to co-operate with the police.  Kath tells Arthur that Glenda told her that whatever happens she is not coming home.  Arthur asks Jane Smith if she could talk to Glenda and try to persuade her to come home with them.  Jane Smith visits Glenda in hospital and tries to persuade her to go home to her parents but Glenda says she won't go home.

David Hunter knocks on the sitting room door and Meg is surprised to find David on the other side of her 'come in'.  She asks him to sit down and assures him that Anthony has no intention of going into the motel business.  "Let's forget about the disco.  You're against it and I'm against it, so that's all that counts," she says.  "Have a cake," she says.  "You know I never eat cake," says David.  "Come on, it's a special occassion," says Meg and David smiles, helping himself to a cake.

Hilary Maddox goes to see David and asks him if he could speak to Bob.

Sandy and Jane tell the Brownlowe's that Glenda is sticking to her decision not to come home to them.

Meg tells Hugh and Anthony that her and David have dismissed the idea of the disco.  Anthony agrees with the decision but Hugh's expression shows that he doesn't.

David goes to see Bob and tells him that Hilary is unhappy and doesn't know where she stands.  Bob agrees that he has been a bit unkind and he will ask Hilary to dinner.

Hugh Mortimer tells Anthony that he shouldn't have agreed with Meg's decision not to go ahead with the disco.  Anthony tells him to be quiet about the disco, and walks out angrily.  He hears a groan from inside the room and rushes back inside to find Hugh clutching his chest.  "Where are the pills?" he asks his father, as he searches his pockets for his pills.

Vera Downend receives a visitor from her past, Michael Ellis.  He asks her out to dinner but instead Vera asks him to have dinner on her boat.

Bill Warren returns to the motel and meets the new barman Jeff Gilbert for the first time.  Avis Tenneson comes into reception and see's Bill.  She rushes into his arms.  Bill tells her that he has taken all his holidays in one go so that he can spend it with her.
